A Neighborhood Restaurant Owned By AZ Local

Owner Bill Demo has come home to Arizona to run what he fondly refers to as his “retirement restaurant.” With decades (we don't need to recount quite how many) in the industry, Bill is proud to be running a neighborhood restaurant, serving good food at good prices with an unbeatable happy hour.

In his early career, Bill crisscrossed the country, chasing opportunities to work for some of the best restaurants. He was grateful to learn from top-notch mentors who guided him until, in 1997, he pursued his dream of running his own restaurant.

After almost a decade in New Mexico, he has returned to Arizona to be close to his family including his first grandson.

He is thankful to Peoria for welcoming him home and allowing him to do the only thing he knows — delivering a remarkable dining experience. Thank you for dining local! We appreciate each of you.

Full Circle: A Culinary Reunion 30 Years in the Making

In the early 1990s, Bill met Alan Skversky while working for a pioneering microbrewery pairing craft beer with incredible food.

Their paths diverged as they each pursued new opportunities. Alan moved to Los Angeles where he worked alongside Wolfgang Puck. Bill moved on to open his first restaurant.

Fast forward 30 years, and life has come full circle. Like Bill, Alan returned to Arizona to be close to his children and grandchildren. He continues to serve as a culinary specialist for a national food broker, but is excited to work with his lifelong friend and mentor again—this time as a chef consultant for The Social.
